Retirement gifts for your aunt

Treat your aunt to a fun hobby class so that she can spend her retirement enjoying the finer things in life! Here are two brilliant ideas that your aunt will adore – just what she needs to kick start her quality time!

My first gift idea is one that I have personally found to be particularly appropriate as a retirement gift: a jewellery making workshop. This is a particularly nice treat for up and coming designers who want to learn some skills, but also for anyone who is interested in having a good time and learning a little about jewellery making. The nice thing about this is that you get to keep what you make so your aunt will be heading home with a heap of inspiration and a beautiful necklace or pair of earrings. Have a look at what she’ll get to do:

Another really good idea would be to spoil her with a decadent cooking course like Thai Cooking with Keith Burke, Seafood delights with a top chef and even chocolate making workshops.  She’ll love her new-found skills and she’ll be able to try them out at home as well. This could be the start of a brilliant new hobby!
