If you’re looking for a fabulous treat for your mum this coming Mother’s Day then why not take her flying? She’ll get the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take the controls of a four-seater plane and she’ll learn all about piloting a real aircraft! I can’t think of a better treat for the most important woman in your life!

I really like that this is an experience for two people – your mum will be able to fly the plane and you’ll get to go with to give her moral support and take in the beautiful scenery :) So it’s a win-win situation all-round!

Have a look at this video and see what awaits you this weekend…

Everyone should have a go!

Are you ready for Mother’s Day?

It’s Wednesday which means that we’re half way through the week to Mother’s Day! How exciting! Have you booked your pamper days, manicures, pedicures and spa treatments? Have you ordered your flowers? Have you booked a table at the best restaurant in town?

If not, you need some serious magic from your fairy gift mother!

Instead of booking her something on Mother’s Day this coming Sunday why not rather give her a pampering gift experience that she can redeem when she wants a little bit of a “pick me up”? You can still enjoy your Sunday with her by cooking her dinner, making her lunch or taking her out for an afternoon tea and she’ll also get to enjoy top pampering treats… without you having to worry about salon availability!  Make the gift look extra special when you take the voucher ‘gift pack’ and hide it in a bunch of flowers, or pop it in under the lid of a box of yummy chocolates! She’ll love the hidden ‘golden ticket’!

Mother’s day gifts for the mum-to-be

If your wife or girlfriend is planning on being a mum in the near future then you should start the festivities early and give her a cute Mother’s Day gift! One of my dearest friends is just about ready to pop and her husband asked me for a little help … what a great idea!

We came up with a few winning ideas which we narrowed down to two very good possibilities.

The first one is a pamper day for pregnant mums. Now it’s important to remember that pregnant women can’t be exposed to a lot of chemicals and things like that, so it’s very handy that a group of massage therapists have come up with a completely organic and healthy massage treatment that’s perfectly healthy for baby and very relaxing for mums-to-be! I can imagine that it would be a very welcomed treat after a long day of work.

The second thing is a photoshoot for the mum-to-be. This is quite a lot of fun because it celebrates the unique beauty of the pregnant tum and gives her a touch of glitz and glamour (every girl’s ‘pick-me-up’). It also gives her a chance to record the special moment in history!

Look at this photograph – isn’t it lovely? Imagine having that in the family photograph album! It’s perfect for when baby grows up.

I think we’re leaning towards the photoshoot but luckily we’ve still got a week or two to decide! He’s planning on writing her a letter to tell her about her exciting experience which he’s going to fold up neatly and have delivered to her in a bunch of flowers! I love the romantic gesture!

Mother’s day is only a few weeks away which leaves you with little time to come up with the perfect gift to celebrate your mum. If you’re stuck for ideas then you’re in luck: here are ten fantastic gifts that every mother should have this year!

1. A pamper day.

Every mum should be treated to a luxurious day at a top-name spa. It’s the least you can do! She’ll be treated like a queen as she relaxes with a back rub, a foot massage and a facial.

2. A cupcake class.

Mums spend most of their time cooking up dishes that the whole family will enjoy, catering to the fussiest children and picky husbands. Treat your mum to something she actually wants to do in the kitchen like this fun-filled cupcakes and cocktails cooking class where she’ll be shown some really neat tricks for cupcake decorating with a designer flair!

3. A photoshoot.

If your mum spends a lot of time running around trying to get her work done, pick up the kids, cook dinner and clean as well then chances are she doesn’t have time to look after herself and feel ‘oh-so pretty’. Give her some time out with a fabulous photoshoot where she’ll be given a makeover and the chance to strut her stuff in front of a professional photographer!

4. A hot air balloon ride.

So many people dream of taking to the skies in a magical hot air balloon but not many actually get to experience it. Why not treat your mum to an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with phenomenal views?

5. A taste of luxury on the open seas.

Give your mum a taste of what it would be like to be super rich and famous when you take her out for an hour long cruise in a luxurious Sun-Seeker power boat. These beauties are fast paced, super sleek and so much fun!

6. Afternoon Tea for Two.

Mums have very little free time on their hands so why not give her a break and treat her to an Afternoon Tea for Two? She’ll enjoy being spoiled with delicious pastries, yummy scones and scrumptious sandwiches with her favourite blend of tea!

7. A jewellery class.

It’s up to you to make sure that your mum takes a little ‘me time’ out of her daily routine and giving her a hobby is a great way to do it! A jewellery making workshop will give her a fantastic new skill that doubles up as a creative outlet.

8. A theatre break.

When was the last time your mum went to the movies? If you can’t remember then it’s time to go all out and treat her to a fabulous West End production followed by a night in a stunning four-star hotel. Let her choose from all the West End hits like Chicago, We Will Rock You, and Wicked.

9. Flying lessons.

Let your mum reach for the stars when you give her the chance to take over the controls of a four-seater plane. This is truly an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that she’ll love!

10. A really indulgent chocolate spa treatment.

It’s no secret that most women love chocolate, so why not give your mum a special treat this mother’s day with a luxurious chocolate spa treatment? She’ll be wrapped, massaged, moisturised and anointed with various cocoa butter products that’ll leave her feeling pampered like a princess!
