Birthday ideas for your wife

Help! It’s my wife’s birthday and I want to get her something nice this year. I’m sure she’s sick of the flowers I get her … I want something that will light up her face when she sees it… any ideas? I was thinking of getting her one of those cooking courses you wrote about yesterday, they look good! But I’m not sure which one she’d like best. I know this is vague, sorry. Please help.

Adam.

Dear Adam,

I’m so glad that you found our posts helpful. I think a cooking course is a fabulous idea! It’s a great way to give her a little time out so that she can enjoy herself doing something fun.

Let me first tell you about Keith Burke. I attended one of his cooking courses and I can honestly say that it changed the way I saw the kitchen! He’s quite a fun, friendly chef and he’s worked with some of the biggest names in the industry (including that Gordon Ramsay bloke). He’s also cooked for A-list celebs like Madonna, so you know he’s got to be good! I would highly recommend the Thai Cooking Course I attended, and one of my dearest friends also recommends his market-fresh cooking course where he’ll take you around the famous Borough Market in London to choose produce to cook. Sound good? If you can’t decide on which one then you should probably go with the Market Course because she’ll be able to chat to Keith on the day to finalise the menu (instead of you choosing now).

Another option would be to move away from the savoury and towards the sweet with a chocolate-making workshop where your wife will learn all the yummy ins and outs of fabulous chocolate treats. You might also consider a delectable cupcake course where she’ll make and decorate delicious cupcakes with some really fancy techniques. Does she have a sweet-tooth? Does she love chocolate treats? These tasty courses are always a hit so you know she’ll love her present this year!

Best of luck to you Adam! Let us know which one you go for.
