Dearest readers,
Hello, I’m Stacey. You can call me your Fairy Gift Mother. I love giving (and receiving) gifts and I especially love the look on someone’s face when they first try to guess what’s underneath all that wrapping… and then when they open it up to find something they weren’t expecting but they oh-so-love!
I’ve been trying my best to find the perfect gifts for my friends and relatives every year and I’ve been fairly good at it so it didn’t surprise me when everyone started coming to me to ask me for help for special occasions. I like to think that I’m somewhat successful in this endeavour, so I thought I’d extend my reach into the world of blogland and share my inspiration and ideas with all of you! Besides, that means I get to take part in the fun of gift buying every day as I tell you about my stories, my adventures (and misadventures) and help you out with your gift finding troubles. What fun!
I hope that you find my stories helpful and my ideas inspirational, and I also can’t wait to hear from you so that we can find the best presents together! Do leave me any comments and questions you might have, and be sure to tell your friends to come have a chat as well!
Yours in gift inspiration,
Stacey

Hi Stacey,
You can’t imagine how timely it is that I found you..:) I’m in desperate need for ideas on wedding gifts..I’m getting married in a few weeks but can’t seem to decide on what to get my “husband to be”. Please HELP!!!

Hi Tess,
Let me first congratulate you on your happy news!
Wedding gifts for partners are a fabulous idea, not enough people do that these days. I would highly recommend getting your groom-to-be something really romantic that you can enjoy together… what about a fun newly-weds photoshoot to capture your happy memories? Or even a yummy cooking course!
If you’re looking for something that’s only for him then you should consider getting him that he’ll really love like the opportunity to drive his dream car around a race track – whether it’s a monster truck or a Lamborghini!
I hope this narrows it down a bit! Remember, he’ll love anything you get him

Hi Stacey,
Mother’s day is a few weeks away and am at a loss as to what to get my dear mum.
I have done loads of research online and can’t seem to come up with anything. Am hoping you might be of help?
Thx,
Wayne

Hi Wayne,
It’s great that you’re looking for something nice for your mum! Much better than the generic gifts like flowers and mugs
I personally believe that mums deserved to be pampered on this special day so I highly recommend treating your mum to a fabulous treatment at a top urban spa. She’ll love being treated like the most important princess in the world and she’ll leave the spa feeling relaxed and rejuvenated! My money’s on this one Wayne, I’m sure she’ll love it!
Good luck!

Hi Stacey,
Mother’s day is coming up real soon and I am fed up of buying last minute gifts. I want to buy her an experience she’ll never forget – kind of an experience of a life time. She’s over 50 can you help?
Stacey's Answer: February 24th, 2010 at 5:59pm
Dear John,
What a fabulous idea! I’ve recently bought my mother a birthday gift and I think you’ll find it equally successful for Mother’s Day: I treated her to a helicopter tour around Stratford-Upon-Avon and the nearby countryside.
She’s never been in a helicopter before and she loved every minute. I went with her and I can speak from experience when I say that it was amazing! The views are phenomenal and the pilot was so clever – he knew all the stories behind all the sights! It was a great experience and she’s still talking about it nearly a month later
I hope that you make this a mother’s day to remember! Do let me know if there’s anything else you need,
x Stacey
Dear Stacey, you recommended a Lamborghini Driving Day to someone the other day. It looked really good. However, I spoke to a friend of mine in Edinburgh and he said that he’s done something similar and it was really boring – the track was nothing more than a drag strip and the driving time was limited to only a few minutes. What should I do? I need to find a gift for my brother asap and I don’t want it to be a dud!
Ben.

Dear Ben,
It can be very frustrating when you buy something and expect one thing, but then end up receiving another. That’s why a lot of people are afraid to buy things online nowadays – you never know what you’re going to get! My recommendation to you is this: watch the video before you buy it!
What I mean is, I post videos here so that you can actually see the experiences that I’m talking about. It’s no good me telling you how amazing it is to drive a Lamborghini – you have to see it for yourself.
Here is a video of the particular Lamborghini driving experience I recommended.
See how fun and exciting it all looks? And that’s exactly what you’re going to get on the big day. It’s good to know that your brother will be able to drive a genuine Lamborghini Gallardo around a real track, not a half-baked drag strip. You were right when you said that this looks amazing!
So the point is, make sure you know what you’re buying before you actually pay for it. Check out the pictures, read the descriptions and the key info, and if possible, watch the video! It will make all the difference to your peace of mind and your brother’s big day.
I hope that your brother has an amazing day in his dream car!

Hi Stacey,
Mothers day is around the conner and i was going to buy the Photoshoot but i dont know if you would have to pay for the pictures separately or not?
Could you please Explain please

Hi Precious,
That’s a great idea! The photoshoot is heaps of fun – I love dressing up and taking centre stage
What happens on the photoshoot is that you dress up and pose while the professional photographer takes hundreds of awesome pictures. Then you get to sit down afterwards and go through all the images where you’ll be able to select the best one that you’ll get for free – it’s all included.
I hope you have a great time, do let me know how it goes!

Hey Tam,
The Summer Madness Card can only be used for Summer Madness Products: click here to see a list.
However, I’ve asked the folks over at TAMF and they’re working on getting something delicious in Manchester on the card … I’ll post back here when they’ve managed to locate something ideal.
xx
I love it!
